On the Portrayal of Women in Comics →
As a comic book reader and fan, I run into this all the time. I hate the way so many women are portrayed in comics. It’s degrading, two-dimensional, lazy, transparent and tiresome. For some good ideas of how to rework comics in such a way that men, women, etc. can be represented and drawn well, check out Autostraddle and Aaron Diaz/Dresden Codak.
